Comparison between Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Platforms – 212, 410E, 624, 626, 605, 660, 820, 835 and 845

Since its inception in 1985, Qualcomm® is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and commercialization of digital telecommunications products and services. According to the report of Insight Research Corp. in 2006, the worldwide telecom industry was in growth mode and its revenue was predicted to climb to $1.3 trillion by 2007. To grab that opportunity, Qualcomm® launched Snapdragon™ system on chip (SoC) in November 2006 by including scorpion processor and other required semiconductors in it. By July 2007, Qualcomm® named as world’s leading mobile integrated circuits (chipsets) provider by market research firm iSupply. As time passed, Qualcomm® had been recognized with many prestigious awards and accolades for its Snapdragon™ platform based products.

In the beginning on year 2013, Qualcomm® unveiled its first flagship processors, Snapdragon™ 800 and 600 to help smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs or any Snapdragon™ processor-based electronic devices with fast processing and long battery life. These processors were loaded with Quad Core Krait 300 CPU, Adreno 320 CPU, LPDDR3 RAM, 4G LTE Cat 4 and 802.11ac, UltraHD, HD Audio, and Dual ISPs up to 55MP. Under the flagship of Snapdragon™, Qualcomm® launched many processors including Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 212, 410E, 624, 626, 605, 660, 820, 835 and 845

Let’s compare various features of Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 212 (APQ8009), 410E (APQ8016), 624 (APQ8053), 626(APQ8053 Pro), 605 (QCS605), 660, 820 (APQ8096), 835 (APQ8098) and 845 (SDM845), which can help you choose the right processor for your product development needs:
