Executive Summary

The client is one of North America’s original vehicle electrification providers and a pioneer of home and commercial charging solutions. In order to remotely monitor & control their fleet of residential and commercial EV chargers, they wanted to develop an OCPP compliant charging management system (CMS).

They needed a web-based portal to track, manage and optimize the charging infrastructure and increase uptime. The CMS portal was also required to provide real-time insights into the charger’s status, generate reports & alerts for important events and offer tight integration with charging hardware to deliver a seamless customer experience.

In addition to the EV charger and smart charging app development, eInfochips built an OCPP 1.6J compliant web-based charger management platform utilizing 10+ Azure cloud services. eInfochips helped the clients with cloud infrastructure setup, data aggregation & analytics, load balancing, and energy management, etc. to streamline operations and remote management of EV charging stations.
