The client is a leading Tier-1 automotive supplier from North America. They specialize in the development and manufacturing of infotainment systems, digital cockpits, and ADAS solutions. They faced multiple challenges across consolidating distributed ECUs, integrating classic and adaptive AUTOSAR, addressing Android™ -based infotainment latency issues, and building a scalable virtual environment for software validation.
Our customer was planning a product transformation journey towards software-defined vehicles. For this, they were looking for a strategic partner with system level expertise across Hardware, Middleware, and Application layers to accelerate their cockpit domain controller programs.
eInfochips partnered with the customer and delivered end-to-end solutions across the digital cockpit, ADAS, and high-performance computing platforms. The overall engagement included the development of the classic and adaptive AUTOSAR architectures, HPC middleware for SDV functionality, ECU consolidation, and Android™ audio system migration. We deployed a global team with members from US, Germany, Egypt, and India. A dedicated lab setup for testing and validation was also established by the team.
eInfochips ensured continuous and faster integration across milestones through an agile delivery model. Our team also focused on enhancing test automation, reducing hardware dependency, and robust software validation through virtual test benches. This strengthened our customer’s global R&D efficiency and scalability.
Across the period of engagement, we helped the customer achieve approximately 8 million dollars in cost savings, reducing validation cycles by 70%, and improving audio latency from 10 ms to 2 ms. We also maintained a retention rate of 98%, ensuring zero delivery disruption. The client recognized the contribution of eInfochips as pivotal in bringing up the first hardware version of their cockpit platform on schedule.
