The client, a leading manufacturer of motion and control technologies, wanted to build a unified, cloud-based platform to remotely monitor and manage industrial assets such as ovens, HVAC systems, and air compressors across multiple facilities. The goal was to track 15+ critical physical parameters, enable real-time visibility, and implement predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and optimize maintenance costs.
eInfochips designed and developed an Azure-based asset monitoring and management platform, leveraging its in-house accelerator EIC PROPEL™ to accelerate development and deployment. The platform featured a scalable data pipeline from edge to cloud supporting both cellular and gateway-connected devices, real-time rule-based alerting for threshold breaches, and configurable dashboards with location-wise and asset-level monitoring. Historical trend analysis and data overlays on maps and factory floor plans enabled actionable insights for proactive asset management and maintenance.
The solution was rolled out across 100 pilot factories and delivered a 20% projected reduction in maintenance costs, while improving operational visibility and ensuring better asset uptime.
