QA Automation for Web Application SW

Executive Summary

The client is a niche provider of web application vulnerabilty evaluation software. Their platform offers e-Commerce companies with security assessment and potential threats. The challenge was to accelerate release cycles from 3 weeks to 1 week with automation.

The client had invested in an in-house python-based framework, that was to be leveraged for automation. As an engineering partner, we understood the automation framework and also contributed with leading practices to enhance its functionality. We adopted Agile processes to accelerate the automation, and delivered the project on an outcome-driven engagement. We achieved 96% automation in 35 weeks.

The client was able to release new builds for end-users every week, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing repeat business. The core team could focus on the next generation of products while our CoE was addressing current releases with verification of defect fixes.
