The client is a leading supplier of high-end IP cameras, and other surveillance solutions. To keep ahead of the technology curve, they envisaged a common re-usable camera platform design that can address multiple market segments with minimal customization. They have a committed deployment timeline for a major international sporting event.

The platform flexibility is such that it could be used as a high performance 18 MP IP Camera for outdoor deployments in extreme environments, or as an economical 3MP IP Camera for indoor use. As the engineering services partner, we took complete design and production responsibility for hardware, software and mechanical aspects, while taking the product through to certifications and volume production.

The customer was able to meet the design, certification and production schedule, with a single-point solution to meet all product lifecycle requirements.
