Executive Summary

The client is a division of a leading telecom and media solution company based in the USA, providing home automation and security solutions. eInfochips has been engaged with the client for the past 8 years and has developed an end to end IoT platform for home automation, integrating 80+ devices and peripherals for the client with web portals and end-user mobile applications.

As the platform matured, a large test infrastructure was developed with 2 million live devices in production, 7 servers, 38 applications and 31 delivery endpoints with a team of 70 people.  The client faced challenges with test management and end-to-end test automation. eInfochips helped the client automate the entire use-case from home sensors to user’s mobile and partner cloud devices.

eInfochips’s test automation solution helped the client automate 25% of regression test cases and achieve 80% effort saving with continuous testing using DevOps tools.
