eInfochips has been engaged with a US-based client providing home automation and security solutions for the past 18 years. eInfochips has developed an end-to-end IoT platform for home automation for the client with web portals and end-user mobile application. As the platform matured, the client faced challenges with test management, scalability and end-to-end test automation. 

eInfochips team took complete ownership of Edge-to-Cloud testing of the AWS-powered IoT platform covering for 2 million homes with 42 million connected devices, 38 applications, 13 smart home ecosystem partners and 300 billion events annually. eInfochips has setup an offshore Testing and Automation Center with about 99.5% of the test execution done offshore. eInfochips leveraged its Snapbricks Test Automation Framework. 

 Resulting in 65% effort savings.  

Over the course of the engagement, eInfochips has also provided numerous value additions with Edge virtualization, DevOps automation, a model-based low code/no code testing, Cognitive QA and remote touchscreen controller for device testing during the pandemic.
