To upgrade their range of legacy machine vision camera products with modern edge capabilities and high performance, the client was evaluating a competent engineering partner with a demonstrated history of developing breakthrough camera and vision-based solutions.
eInfochips partnered with the client to develop a compact and robust IP65-rated machine vision camera platform built on a modular architecture. The solution combined optimized hardware design, firmware development, and edge processing powered by an advanced Vision Systems-on-Chip (SoC) platform. Security was embedded from the ground up, with comprehensive threat modelling, security validation, and strict adherence to IEC 62443 and OWASP standards. The result was a future-ready machine vision camera platform with reduced cost, higher efficiency, and robust cybersecurity.
