Executive Summary
The client is a Fortune 500 American conglomerate and manufacturer and solutions provider across energy, engineered systems, fluids, refrigeration, and food equipment. The customer was looking to provide a unified IoT platform as a service to over fifty operational companies spread across different verticals for device lifecycle management, customer and asset management, user identity, and billing integration.
eInfochips developed an Industrial IoT Platform-as-a-Service on Microsoft Azure by leveraging its in-house accelerator EIC PROPEL™, featuring device management, secure provisioning, OTA updates, health monitoring, troubleshooting, and remote access. The platform enabled operational divisions such as vehicle services, collision technology, chemical dispensing, and product identification to migrate critical applications into the IoT ecosystem, enabling predictive insights and real-time monitoring.
This IoT platform is now leveraged by more than 50 operational companies of the conglomerate and delivered measurable outcomes such as 65% reduction in workflow completion time for ADAS calibration systems, 70% improvement in performance for collision technology systems, and 20% reduction in wastage of high-cost chemicals in dosing solutions, while also enhancing real-time monitoring and supply chain traceability.
