The client is a global leader in building management systems, fire and safety solutions, security, and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Their building management solution was unable to support multi-site buildings on a single platform, making data aggregation complex. eInfochips developed a Microsoft Azure-based solution that was capable of multi-site building management and could be easily scaled up. It allowed centralized management of distributed facilities from a unified interface and made adoption easier with basic and enhanced subscription models for the end users. The platform supported data ingestion from a wide range of sensors, security peripherals, and field devices through a secure, centralized dashboard. This enabled real-time monitoring of building operations, scheduling and alarm management, and tracking of key indicators such as energy usage, equipment performance, and utilization to improve operational efficiency.

The platform simplified operations and assisted in faster identification of operational issues with real-time performance data. OpenADR integration enabled energy optimization, saving over 15% in energy costs. Removing Salesforce for customer onboarding made the solution cost-effective.
