The client is a division of a leading telecom and media solution company based in the USA, providing home automation and security solutions. eInfochips has been engaged with the client for the past 10 years and has developed an end to end IoT platform for home automation. We have integrated 80+ devices and peripherals along with design and devleopment of web portals and end-user mobile applications. 

With deployment of gateways, touchscreen and increased subscriber count, the legacy monolithic architecture became bottleneck to growth.  It became increasingly difficult  for the client to scale as different modules had conflicting resource requirements. Therefore, client needed to make significant changes to the architecture.

eInfochips  helped client modernize the legacy architecture and migrate from monolithic to highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices architecture on AWS leveraging AWS native development and container technologies.  The team enabled Smart Home Ecosystem integration with other 13 smart home providers and 40+ devices.  As a result, the customer was able to scale to more than 2 million customers and accelerate its AWS cloud transformation journey for home automation IoT platform.  Customer also realized 90% cost savings annually with AWS cloud native development.
