Executive Summary

Our client, a Swiss based company known for premium products and innovative solution development for diverse mix of industries, such as aerospace and defense, safety and security, construction, and manufacturing. With strong focus on precise and accurate instruments, sophisticated software, the client wanted to develop a next gen of LiDAR and imaging technology based compact imaging laser scanner. The earlier versions were not handheld, and they were looking for a development partner who can help with low power portable hardware design of this flagship product.

eInfochips leveraging it’s strong experience on camera design, proposed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Omnivsion 10823 based solution. eInfochips took the complete ownership of hardware design, firmware development of the product. eInfochips also helped in image sensor tuning of the camera in its in-house state of the art lab to meet the stringent and custom image quality requirements.
