The client is a US-based startup that develops sleek wearable glasses for multimedia entertainment, mainly targeting the in-flight entertainment market. They aim to provide the smallest and lightest virtual reality eyewear for powerful, immersive, Ultra HD cinematic experience anywhere.

They were in search of a partner who could evaluate different processor platforms, develop a proof of concept, and also help with custom hardware and firmware development.

After evaluating client requirements, eInfochips proposed Snapdragon 820 processor for the product. eInfochips also helped with rapid Proof-of-Concept development leveraging its existing eInfochips 820 based evaluation kit which is based on Snapdragon 820 processor.
