eInfochips' DVPB-HD is a rapid prototyping board based on TI TMS320DM6467 DaVinci" Technology. DVPB-HD is a small form factor board and is ideal for prototyping applications based on DaVinci" Technology.

DVPB-HD is a small form factor board and is ideal for prototyping applications based on DaVinci" Technology. The board supports MontaVista Linux 2.6.10 OS and features Video & Audio I/O, 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet, RS232, RS485, USB 2.0, VLYNQ, HDD, RTC, UART/IrDA/CIR, PCI 2.3, SPI and GPIO. The board is targeted for applications like Video Encode/Transcode/Trans-rate, Video Surveillance DVRs/DVS, Media Gateways, Multi-Conferencing Units, Medical Imaging, Digital Media Adaptor, IP Video Phone, Videoconferencing, IP Netcam, Advanced IP STB.

  • You don't need to buy anything. All other necessary tools are available on TI Extranet. You can directly download them from there using your MY-TI login.(http://my.ti.com)

  • Which Codecs are available with this board?
  • We use the TI DVSDK for DM6467 available on TI extranet. It contains following codecs
    Video: H264 encoder and H264 decoder, MPEG2 decoder
    Speech: G7G11 encoder and decoder, AAC encoder and decoder (evaluation version)
    Image: JPEG encoder and decoder
  • Which Streaming Protocol Stacks are available with this board?
  • We provide evaluation version of RTP/RTSP stack library for developing streaming applications
  • Which Container formats are available with this board?
  • None. However, eInfochips also has a Container format library which supports multiple formats, which can be licensed separately. This container-format library supports the following formats
    Containers: QTFF Reader/ Writer, MP4 Reader/ Writer, MPEG2TS Reader/Writer, 3GP Reader/Writer, DigiCipher -2
