ARM based Wireless Multimedia SoC

Executive Summary

Our customer is a leader in advanced digital video production, management and presentation technology.

The SoC consists of ARM946E-W88 RISC processor, 4 layers of AHB and APB bus. Different slaves are connected to different AHB layers and APB bus. AHB and APB bus are connected using AHB to APB Bridge. This chip is targeted at wireless multimedia transfer.

The customer engaged eInfochips for system level verification of the SoC that comprised of Memory Controller, DMA Controller, Interrupt Controller, USB / PCI card bus, GPIO, Watch Dog Timer and General Purpose Bus Interface (GPB). eInfochips took complete ownership of verification and implemented the verification environment on RVM methodology, resulting in a bug-free SoC.
