Executive Summary

Our customer is a leading provider of High speed Ethernet network processors with a common architecture and software across all its products. The network processors provide the flexibility and integration that enable triple-play data, voice and video services in systems that make up the new Carrier Ethernet networks. eInfochips Carrier Ethernet product team had been engaged for porting the eInfochips’ Ethernet OAM solution on the customer’s reference platform.

The Customer

Our customer is an industry leading network processor vendor who has leveraged our services to port eInfochips Carrier Ethernet software modules ( 802.1ag CFM ,Y1731 Performance Monitoring) onto its industry leading 30 Gigabit Network Processor.

The Challenge

• Get going with NP development environment, Tools, Build environment and reference platform
• Understanding of the OAM data plane application
• Integrating eInfochips Carrier Ethernet Stack with the NP drivers on Linux platform
