Our customer is a leading consultant company in US and they provide an effective online consultancy services.

Our client was not having expertise to build network video server; eInfochips was engaged in the project and has enabled the customer in building multi channel network video server. The NVR was enabled with 4 video and 4 audio channels. The network video server is useful for Video Surveillance System and Streaming Application.
Team eInfochips has come up with Concept-to-Product Design and based on TI DM643 Media Processors and Intel IXP Host Processor has developed multichannel NVR. With expertise on TI DM643 we have enabled our customer in reducing the project cost over 35%.

The Customer

Our customer is a leading consulting company is US. Their services are used by various decision makers and they are well known for research & development consulting to stand high above the rest.

They operate business with the aim to see the motion image in remote sites or distant place with the help of Internet.

The Challenge

  • Incorporating 4 Video Channels and 4 Audio Channels
  • Time to market was critical so we had to develop and execute the project in short span of time.

Design & Development

We have delivered a feature rich product design with real time media streaming for live video monitoring and control with Concept-to-Product Design.

  • eInfochips has executed the board design based on combination of ARM + DSP
  • We have also executed DSP & Host Firmware including
    • Porting H.264 on DSP
    • Linux Firmware Development on ARM
  • We have enhanced our support with the Customer application Development
  • We have enabled the product to be useful in the next generation by the extended wrapper implementation for open source SIP & RTP library

With this design and development we enabled the product to support the following features:

  • 4 Video Channels + 4 Audio Channels
  • H.264 Video Compression
  • RTP for real time media streaming
  • Upper layer framework development for OSIP library
  • Feature-rich desktop application for live monitoring and control of Video Servers
