CSC is one of the standard image processing techniques that
allows efficient use of digital image data, associated with
a color pixel, by switching color domains. Some of the application
areas for Color Space Conversion are -
- Image filtering
- Image / Video and still-image processing applications
- Image/Video compression / decompression systems
- Display systems
- Machine Vision
CSC core is defined as an integral sub-block within a video
processing application. The objective in developing the core
is to have a high-performance generic IP, which possess the
ability to convert from any given input color format to the
required out format (say color conversion from R'G'B' to Y'CbCr
and vice-versa)
Features
- Fully Synchronous, without internal Tri-States,
with asynchronous reset and clock enable.
- 8-bit Input, 8-bit Output & 9-bit coefficients
- Supports Generic Color Space Conversion
