e-Capture is a mobile-based application which enables the user to capture the data along with the image including the GPS data of the location where image is taken, and send the details to PC / mobile.

“e-Capture” is an application that enables mobile users to use the image captured by their mobile cameras in different array and spectrum to cater to various circumstantial purposes along with the GPS Coordinates. The captured image is geo-tagged first and then the user is provided with various options to transfer that image for further processing. Application

e-Capture can be used at any place where verification based on location needs to be carried out. For example, road accident data can be captured and transmitted to nearby control station, insurance companies can track the details, location tracking with image captured etc.

  • Location Acquisition:Application uses the inbuilt available GPS module to get the location details of the device; it also uses the Assisted GPS, which helps in getting a GPS Lock faster. If at all you are inside a building where the GPS lock is not obtained the application uses network -based positioning to get the location details. This location detail is later used to geo-tag the image and show the user where he/she has taken this image.
