Field Application Engineer – Embedded Group

Job Description:

• Field Applications Engineer will be a prime liaison with customers on all technical matters.
• This person will be involved in all phases of working with new and existing clients introducing them to the broad range of technical capabilities of eInfochips on the chip side.
• Prepare and deliver technical training to sales channel and customers

Desired Profile:

• 6-8 years industry experience; H1B Visa
• Experience in programming in C and assembly languages
• Knowledge in embedded processor programming, debugging, and emulation
• Knowledgeable in the cellular, semiconductor or similar industries
• Technical with a business attitude, and a high degree of enthusiasm and energy
• Self driven with strong ability to take ownership of customer relationships, solve technical issues and handle solution coordination with customers and the offshore team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation, communication, listening and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate issues and solutions
• Education: Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering or related fields. Post graduation in business administration an added advantage.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge in DSP / CPU architecture and IP delivery
• Embedded DSP/CPU software design and development
• C/C++ / Assembler expertise as well as deep understanding of compilers and makefiles.
• Broad knowledge of MPEG video, audio and system standards.
• Knowledge of Video/Audio industry and standards (MPEG, NTSC, PAL, Mobile TV, WiMax, DTV and HDTV and similar)
• DSP/ASIC/SOC Design knowledge and experience
• Micro-architecture design involving embedded processors, standard bus architectures, I/O protocols, and memory design
• Former knowledge in TI, ADI, Motorola, ARM or similar processors an added advantage
