The Solution

The product design services group formed a team comprising of hardware design experts, firmware development engineers having skills on RTOS, device driver, application development and consultants with domain knowledge.

eInfochips offered complete systems development solution right from feasibility study giving design options with cost vs. performance analysis, complete hardware & software development, building product prototype & field testing and support for volume manufacturing including developing automated test set-up.

As time to market was critical, the product development was divided in different phases. In phase one, emphasis was given on the systems performance issues and meeting basic minimum features. More software features were added in subsequent releases based on the market requirements.

eInfochips designed low cost hardware meeting the systems performance requirements, the hardware was based on ARM platform with audio/ video, GPS, SONAR and other standard interfaces. The embedded software development involved Embedded Linux configuration & porting, boot loader development and developing drivers for all the interfaces.
