Design & Verification of an Image Sensor Chip

Executive Summary

Our customer is a world leader in high technology products with 364 consolidated subsidiaries worldwide.

The image sensor chip operates on a 5 MegaPixel image from Image file /Memory array captured by a camera and converts it into MIPI parallel output format based on the registers settings configured. I2C Master accepts a register settings file from user and drives it into the chip.

The customer wanted to expedite their product development by outsourcing the design and verification of a complex chip. eInfochips was a preferred choice based on its proven track record in design and verification. eInfochips' team designed various synthesizable modules and developed reusable block level verification environment components including SystemVerilog assertion monitors for an image sensor chip. The customer was able to launch the chip on time and save up to 50% cost by leveraging eInfochips' AOM engagement.
