He holds a BS in Electronics Engineering from BITS - 1976, and a MS in Computer Engineering from Cornell - 1977. He has worked for 9 years at Intel and Daisy Systems. At Intel, he was one of the designers of the 80186 chip, fountainhead of the PC era. Spotting the synergy between Indian engineering talent and the requirements of the US market, he founded eInfochips in 1995 with just one engineer, working out of his home. Today, eInfochips with multiple Offshore Development Centers at India offers solutions and services to global clients. |

Avtar holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from the University of Mumbai, and a masters degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota. At Intel, Avtar co-led the development of the Pentium processor and was responsible for the first phase development of Intel's 64-bit architecture - The Itanium Processor. Driven by desire to work in his home country, Avtar moved back to India in 1999 as Director, South Asia. Avtar left Intel in January 2004 and is currently working with smaller yet equally innovative technology companies. |

He has about 34 years of experience in Equity Investments, Project Planning, Implementation and Turnarounds. Mr.Varshney is an Electrical Engineer from IIT Kanpur, followed by MS and MBA from Louisiana State University, USA; he gained critical work exposure in the USA before returning to India in 1975. He has worked for more than 11 years with Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation (GIIC), a leading industrial development bank and promoters of large and medium industrial projects in IT and associate sectors with private partners. In July 1990, he was selected by the World Bank and GIIC to start Gujarat Venture Finance Ltd. (now known as GVFL) as an independent, autonomous organization at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He is one of the oldest Venture Capitalist in India who has witnessed complete cycle of fund raising, investing, divesting and distribution. |

Mrs. Manjula Pooja Shroff is a social entrepreneur and founder of the Delhi Public School (Ahmedabad), Prerna, Visamo Kids, and The Calorx School. She holds a post-graduate degree in Political Science from Utkal University and is a Graduate of Management Education Programme from IIM, Ahmedabad. Besides being known as a visionary and an educationist in Gujarat, Mrs. Shroff also successfully runs a business of hospitality & corporate services – Calorx India Ltd., New Delhi. She’s a recipient of several awards including the prestigious Secular India Award from the President of India, Shri Shankar Dayal Sharma, and the Woman of the Year award by the American Bibliography Society, North Carolina. |
